After a successful first round of applications for the AgriFI Kenya Challenge Fund, we are excited to announce that the second call will open on 27th June 2019. All details on the competition will be published on the website on this date.
In other developments, the European Investment Bank has signed a finance contract with Equity Bank to provide debt financing to potential agri-enterprises in the AgriFI programme. This will be in the form of long-term financing to eligible food and agriculture sector projects in local currency. This initiative under a new agriculture sector financing programme dubbed the Kenya Agriculture Value Chain Facility, will be available for match funding to applicants of the AgriFI Kenya Challenge Fund through Equity Bank.
To speak more on this opportunity, Self Help Africa and Equity Bank will jointly hold a series of information sessions in 12 locations across the country from 2nd to 17th July 2019. Webinars will be held on 16th and 23rd of July. To register to attend an information session and /or webinar please visit www.agrifichallengefund.org
